A Dodge battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your auto.It’s also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its chief goal is to start the Dodge engine.
Once the Dodge engine is operating, electricity for the car is provided by the alternator.
Commonly, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to discharge a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, plus a full discharge can decrease the battery’s lifespan.
